State comptroller’s office will examine police accountability

The New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller is looking at the effectiveness of police reforms in the state. It’s launching a Police Accountability Project, which will examine data from state and local law enforcement agencies to see whether policing has improved in New Jersey. Acting State Comptroller Kevin Walsh explains the initiative.
