Rising numbers of COVID-19 cases in New Jersey and across the country aren’t stopping people from getting out of town for the holidays. The AAA estimates nearly 110 million people will travel between Dec. 23 and Jan. 2. That will include about 2.5 million New Jerseyans.

Experts say the best times to travel are on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Anyone flying should get to the airport two hours early for domestic flights, and three hours early for international flights and come with proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
