Health expert advises how to stay safe during holiday season

As COVID-19 surges in our area, more and more public events are being canceled. The lights went down on 10 Broadway shows at the weekend, and Radio City Music Hall has shut down its famous Christmas Spectacular Rockettes’ performances for the season. New York City is opening 23 more COVID-19 testing sites as the lines grow longer and longer.

Meanwhile, the White House has appointed Dr. Dara Kass as the new regional director for the Department of Health and Human Services. As part of her role, Dr. Kass is working to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in New Jersey and New York, along with Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. She advises what we can each do to stay safe during the latest surge of the disease.
