Certified organic farms in New Jersey (2022)

For all the growth in the organic food market nationwide, the Garden State isn’t necessarily showing it in the fields. Just 1% — or all of 81 of the state’s nearly 1,000 farms — are certified by the USDA National Organic Program, allowing them to sell their produce as “organic.” That’s a slight growth from 78 in 2017.
