A shortage in car parts around the world continues to have a trickle-down effect on dealers and buyers across New Jersey. Since manufacturers haven’t been able to adequately produce enough parts during the past two years, the supply of new vehicles has decreased, forcing consumers to look for used vehicles instead. But the supply just isn’t there.
Customers are also paying higher prices. Experts expect shortages to continue for at least the first two quarters of this year but they’re hopeful things will improve significantly by 2023.
