Now that lawmakers have been convinced that the takeaway from last month’s election was the need to focus on affordability in New Jersey, the State House’s current buzzword is providing a rationale for many to look at the Legislature and say “We need your help.” New Jersey’s business community is no exception. Business leaders say the sector is still reeling from a pandemic that shut down a third of the state’s small enterprises and reshaped Jersey’s economy.
In a virtual press conference on Tuesday, business leaders called for less regulation and more subsidy from the Murphy administration.
