U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-11th) was part of a bipartisan congressional delegation that recently returned from Ukraine. There, she met President Volodymyr Zelensky and Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov and visited the site of atrocities committed by Russian military. She said the Ukrainian leaders asked for the United States to provide it with even longer-range missiles.
“I’ve certainly been pushing the administration to provide that,” Sherrill said. “Make no mistake, if we don’t beat back the Russian threat and aggression in Ukraine, it does not end there. We are looking at fragile states like Moldova facing that threat, and beyond.”
