Weeks after plans were unveiled for a massive $10 billion replacement of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, bus riders and members of the public are able to make their voices heard.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on Tuesday held the only in-person public hearing about the project. It’s just one way the public can give feedback on the plan. Three virtual public hearings are scheduled for between Wednesday and Thursday, and the agency is accepting public comment until March 18.
“We really see this as a big, beautiful, ambitious proposal that really represents a lot of what this region needs,” said Zoe Baldwin, New Jersey director of the Regional Plan Association.
