Misrach Ewunetie, a Princeton University student who had been missing for nearly a week, has been found dead on the outskirts of the campus. The body of the 20-year-old was recovered from behind tennis courts about a half-mile from her dorm. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said that an autopsy will determine the cause of Ewunetie’s death, but that there were no obvious signs of injury and her death does not appear suspicious or criminal in nature.
Princeton University sent a letter to students and staff, saying in part: “Misrach’s death is an unthinkable tragedy. Our hearts go out to her family, her friends and the many others who knew and loved her.”
