Recent Princeton University graduate Larry Giberson pleaded guilty this week for his role in the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. The 22-year-old, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in politics from the Ivy League school in the spring, admitted to being on the front lines of an attack on Capitol police officers that day.

According to court filings, the Manahawkin resident joined with others to physically push against officers guarding an entrance to the building. FBI records show he remained in the area for roughly an hour. Giberson remains free until his sentencing on Nov. 1.
