The family of Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour is speaking out for the first time since her death. Dwumfour was gunned down in front of her home almost two months ago, leaving behind a husband and 12-year-old daughter. Her family says they want the person who is responsible for her death to be found and arrested so justice can be served.
The family’s attorney John Wisniewski, a former assemblyman, said, “We know that there is someone out there who knows what they’ve done … The family has one goal, [that] the evil person who committed this heinous crime is quickly discovered, is arrested and held accountable. They want justice for Eunice.”
Karl Badu, pastor to the family, said they met with authorities earlier this month, but were left with more questions than answers.
