With early voting continuing into Sunday, New Jerseyans are getting in line at the polls.
Another 125,000 votes were cast in-person on Wednesday and 25,000 came in by mail, bringing the total to 1,322,295 as of the end of the day. In-person voting now nearly matches the mail-in votes.
Overall, close to 20% of all registered voters in the state have voted so far, representing nearly 30% of all the votes cast in 2020. Half of them have been registered Democrats, and nearly a third Republicans.
