NJ Spotlight News on Tuesday hosted a live conversation between the two major candidates for U.S. Senate, Democratic candidate Andy Kim and Republican Curtis Bashaw, and heard the two lay out different visions and positions on some of New Jersey’s top issues.
In the hour-long conversation, Kim and Bashaw discussed affordability, abortion, immigration, foreign policy and more. The two are looking to succeed former Sen. Bob Menendez, who resigned in August after he was convicted on federal bribery and corruption charges.
