Sean Caddle, a long-time political operative for campaigns and candidates from Union County to Atlantic County and many stops in between, is at the center of a murder-for-hire mystery, having admitted to hiring the men who killed another political operator, and onetime candidate, Mike Galdieri of Jersey City.
But Caddle is also a government informant. And the fact that he is serving time at home, rather than in prison, has led to speculation about what or who may be the next target of investigators. “If it turns out there’s other murders, at this point it wouldn’t shock me,” said Hudson County Commissioner Bill O’Dea.
