For the more than 3 million refugees who have fled Ukraine, where they go and what happens next remains unclear. A Ukrainian family who found shelter here in New Jersey still has a difficult journey ahead as they seek to find jobs and extend their stay.

“We were forced to flee our home. We were forced. I don’t wish that to anybody. And we don’t have any type of status here. Makes me a little bit sad because I wish to be treated more like, like what we are right now. Unfortunately, we became refugees,” said Jonathan Cepeda, Ukrainian refugee.
