Spotted lanternflies are back in New Jersey; they’re in trees, on city streets and even at the Jersey Shore. Swarming in large numbers, the infamous invasive bugs from Asia are destructive to a wide range of plants and crops, and a menace to your backyard.

New Jersey is trying to figure out a long-term solution to the spotted lanternfly, said state Secretary of Agriculture Doug Fisher.
