Supreme Court weighs what social media companies are — and are not — liable for

This week the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments in a pair of cases that could fundamentally reshape the legal space in which social media giants like Facebook and Twitter operate. The two cases ask the court to decide whether or not internet platforms are responsible for the content published by their users, and whether or not the companies have the power to decide what can and cannot be posted on their sites.
