Spreading Hanukkah’s message of hope during COVID-19

The Jewish Festival of Lights starts this week. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, this year the eight days of Hanukkah will be celebrated with smaller, less traditional gatherings.

While some Jewish Americans are already accustomed to more intimate get-togethers during the holiday, it’s quite an adjustment for many others, focusing on their health and safety while still spreading hope and light. Correspondent Joanna Gagis reports.
