The Rutgers men’s basketball team has had a resurgence in recent years, but the best may still be to come.
Dylan Harper, a star guard at Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Bergen County and the No. 2 ranked player nationally in this year’s senior class, last week announced his commitment to play for the Scarlet Knights. Harper will join Ace Bailey, another of the nation’s top high school players, at Rutgers next year, giving coach Steve Pikiell arguably the best recruiting class in college basketball.
Harper picked Rutgers over a number of traditional college basketball powerhouses, saying he chose to stay close to home and follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Ron Harper Jr.
