Money worries are topping the list of concerns facing Americans, outpacing concerns over COVID-19, according to the latest Monmouth University poll out Wednesday. Of those surveyed, 29% name everyday bills or inflation as the biggest concerns facing their family right now, compared with 18% who said COVID-19 was their biggest worry.
Some 56% say it’s at least somewhat easy for them to pay their grocery bills, but that’s a drop of 13 points in the past two years. Meantime, most respondents support the big-spending initiatives from the Biden administration. A majority back the recently approved infrastructure bill and the Build Back Better bill.
