East Orange residents who need help getting health care are being provided some assistance. The Urgent Care Walk-In Medical Suite teamed up with other local organizations to host a social service and health fair in the city. Vendors offered a number of services like free diagnostic testing and employment assistance.
Organizers said they want to make sure everyone who needs health care gets it, including formerly incarcerated residents needing a second chance.
Chasing the Dream: Poverty and Opportunity in America is a multiplatform public media initiative that provides a deeper understanding of the impact of poverty on American society.
