The daily commute could be getting better for NJ Transit riders. New York state wants to expand Penn Station and NJ Transit is providing input on the plan, in order to provide additional capacity for NJ Transit trains. NJ Transit is also investing money to modernize the ticketed waiting area at the Amtrak concourse.
