In this special edition of NJ Spotlight News, we share a tribute to the life and legacy of our beloved colleague and consummate newsman Michael Aron, who died recently at the age of 78 after a career that spanned four decades.
Aron covered every major political story of our state dating back to the days of Gov. Brendan Byrne, and earning the respect and admiration of everyone with whom he crossed paths.
Aron was dubbed the Dean of the State House press corps. He was a beloved father and grandfather, an avid soccer player, a David Bowie fan and had a heck of a sense of humor.
