A Ridgewood eatery that announced it will require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for indoor dining received threatening phone calls from angry, anonymous opponents of vaccination.
Paul Vagianos, owner of It’s Greek to Me, has stood firm on his mandate. Despite pushback, some other New Jersey businesses are also imposing their own rules — including mask mandates for the unvaccinated — to stem the spread of COVID-19.
New Jersey has enacted mask requirements for K-12 students and school staff this fall and has mandated vaccinations in health care and long-term care settings.
