The BOSS and SWIFT Act, named after music icons Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift, is being introduced by New Jersey congressional representatives Bill Pascrell (D-9th) and Frank Pallone (D-6th).
The bill targets pricey concert ticket resales and addresses hidden fees and ticket sale transparency. It comes ahead of a series of Memorial weekend concerts by Swift at MetLife Stadium. Resale prices of tickets for the sold-out shows have been stratospheric, with the cheapest StubHub seats starting at $2,000, as of Thursday evening.
