Campaign ads for the upcoming election cycle are likely hitting your inbox, newsfeed and airwaves at a more frantic pace. September is typically when the blitz begins with the hope those pricey commercials move the needle for voter support. A new Monmouth University Poll is out today, taking the pulse of the gubernatorial race. It shows the gap between candidates is narrowing.
“The fundamental dynamics of this race has not changed. Ciattarelli has picked up a few points to close the gap, but it’s statistically insignificant,” said Patrick Murray, Director of Monmouth University Polling Institute.
