Roughly one-third of New Jersey households continue to face persistent financial hardship in the years since the COVID-19 pandemic erupted, according to a new report. That figure, which totals about 1.3 million households in the Garden State, includes people living below the poverty line as well as so-called ALICE households: people who are asset-limited, income-constrained and employed.
