Mixed reactions ahead of Friday’s indoor capacity expansion

Work is underway at restaurants, bars and businesses across the state as they prepare for the lifting Friday morning of the 10 p.m. indoor dining curfew and expanded indoor capacity from 25% to 35% at just about all venues. Owners say they’re ready to welcome more customers.

The new guidelines come just in time for Super Bowl weekend, a chance for a bump in revenue for cash-strapped businesses. Will the executive order be enough to make a dent in declining sales? And is it safe, with new variants of COVID-19 threatening to increase the spread of the virus? Correspondent Raven Santana reports.
