The Democratic and Republican parties are gearing up for competitive midterm elections, with Democrats facing mounting pressure. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s “Frontline” program, which offers support for incumbents facing tough reelection campaigns, has identified four vulnerable Democrats in New Jersey. One of them is Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-5th), who is facing three Republican challengers.
