The latest episode in the NJ PBS “21” digital documentary series is now online. The series examines the simple question: “Does where you live in the state affect how you live?” The series profiles one person in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties and looks at the social determinants that affect that person’s life.

The latest episode profiles Fallon Davis of Essex County, who founded STEAM Urban, an “expressive arts and STEM discipline education program for Black and brown students of all ages.” Its focuses, Fallon told NJ Spotlight News, are “environmental justice, social justice and educational equity … In areas without resources, without access, your quality of life is really hindered.”
