The Joint Committee on Economic Justice and Equal Employment Opportunities held a hearing Tuesday to assess the state’s progress in supporting minority and women-owned businesses — a priority of Gov. Phil Murphy’s administration.

Hester Agudosi, the state’s Chief Diversity Officer, took center stage at the hearing to answer Sen. Ron Rice’s questions on the progress she’s made since taking office in May 2018.
