After facing a number of learning challenges during the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, children across New Jersey are happy to be returning to school in person. But as COVID-19-related worries lessen, some parents are expressing concerns about safety, especially after the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas on May 24.
