The 2019 Medical Cannabis Symposium hosted by Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and the State Department of Health, is a forum for physicians, nurses and pharmacists to understand the research behind cannabis.

Enrollment in New Jersey’s medical cannabis program has grown under the Murphy administration from nearly 17,000 patients to 63,000. The Murphy administration has been working to remove barriers for researchers, signing a new law last July which creates a new class of permit that allows academic medical centers and dispensaries to work together to study the patient population.
