As COVID-19 surges again in New Jersey, families are worried they won’t be able to see their loved ones at long-term care facilities in the state. The facilities currently remain open for visitation. However, they’re facing challenges as staff members are increasingly being exposed to COVID-19, forcing many of them into quarantine and creating staffing shortages. Advocates say they recognize that the facilities are doing the best they can to ensure visits can continue.
