FDA cracks down on vaping

The FDA says it will now ban the sale of fruity flavors in cartridge-based e-cigarettes, favored by teenagers. But the restriction won’t apply to tank vaping systems found at vape shops that cater to adults. Vaping groups have been fighting new restrictions, arguing that vape shops will be put out of business.

Twelve New Jersey residents have been sickened by a salmonella outbreak. The CDC says the likely source is a fruit mix product sold by Tailor Cut Produce, based in North Brunswick.

The U.S. airstrike in the Middle East sent oil prices spiking. The price tracking firm GasBuddy projects higher prices at the gas pumps within one to two weeks.
