Fair Lawn residents weighed in on plans for the site of the former Nabisco factory. At a public meeting of the planning board Monday, some voiced concerns that demolition of the factory could release toxins. They also raised concerns about the extent of new development at the site.
A planned implosion at the site was canceled, and many residents say they are still in the dark about how the building will come down. The developer reportedly plans to build office and warehouse space.
