Gov. Phil Murphy’s reelection campaign is bringing in some Democratic heavy hitters over the next few days. Former President Barack Obama is visiting New Jersey on Saturday, followed by President Joe Biden on Monday. The high-profile visits come as a new poll shows Murphy’s lead over Republican Jack Ciattarelli has narrowed to six points. The poll by Emerson College, WPIX and News Nation also showed that 7% of voters are still undecided. The poll has a margin of error of under 4%.
LeRoy Jones, chairman of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, talks about the poll and the Murphy campaign’s plan to get out the vote.
