Calls for urgent improvements to New Jersey's patchwork scheduling of appointments

Seniors are among the most vulnerable to the ravages of COVID-19, a major reason the state opened a call center to help them get appointments for vaccinations. “And this is our most vulnerable population,” said Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi (R-Bergen), adding, “Meanwhile, you hear these stories about perfectly healthy people who are getting them because they’re a family member or they’re politically connected.”
