New Jersey restaurants slammed hard by inflation, staff shortages and pandemic mandates have been forced to cut back on hours and offer fewer dining options to stay afloat. But a few eateries that fully embraced the take-out-only model not only survived, they’ve thrived — especially since omicron discouraged most people from dining indoors.
