Questions are swirling around the drug mifepristone, which is commonly used for medical abortions, after a federal judge in Texas overturned the Food and Drug Administration’s long-time approval of the medicine. That ruling has since been held by high courts, and the issue is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court.
