Attorney general doubles down on natural resource damage lawsuits

The Attorney General’s Office doubled down this year on its efforts to hold companies accountable for environmental damages, filing eight NRD, or Natural Resource Damage lawsuits. That’s twice the amount it filed in 2018.

As the state debates the best way to attract business to Camden, the small business community say it needs to be part of the solution. The Camden Business Association has a plan to leverage the power of small businesses.

Newark’s Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils and are raising a toast to their new partnership with America’s oldest brewery, Yuengling & Sons. The venture will bring a new restaurant to the Pru, called the Yuengling 1829 Grill and a new initiative to support veterans and their families, called the Yuengling Lagers for Heroes program.

A spoofing company in New Jersey is suing North Dakota because the state just passed a law making it a crime to use a fake caller ID with the intent to defraud or mislead. New Jersey based-SpoofCard LLC is calling the law unconstitutional, saying federal law takes precedence, according to North Dakota’s Bismarck Tribune.
