Nearly 1.3 million New Jerseyans are expected to head out of town for Thanksgiving, according to AAA, which says that number is just shy of the pre-pandemic total in 2019, a record year for travel.
While many people have chosen to fly to their destinations, experts say 90% of travelers are driving. Travelers are being advised to allow for extra time.
