NJ Voters Guide: 15th Legislative District
New Jersey’s 15th Legislative District includes the state capitol. In addition to Trenton, it includes Ewing, Hopewell borough and township, Lawrence, Pennington and West Windsor in Mercer County and Delaware, East Amwell, Frenchtown, Kingwood, Lambertville, Stockton and West Amwell in Hunterdon County.
The district’s registered voters are largely Democrats, about 48%, with just 16% of registrants identifying as Republicans. Most of the rest are unaffiliated.
Democrat Assembly incumbents Verlina Reynolds-Jackson, the Mercer County grants administrator, and Anthony Verrelli, a former Mercer County commissioner, are virtually guaranteed reelection as no Republicans filed.
