At least $100 million is available for spending on this year’s gubernatorial primary election in New Jersey, with more than half of that coming from independent committees. NJ Spotlight News searched multiple sources to find out how much money is behind each candidate.
Data is provided for nine of the 11 gubernatorial candidates. The other two, Republicans Mario Kranjac and Justin Barbera, have not had to report any financial information yet. We are counting all money raised and spent by candidate committees and independent committees created by or supporting candidates from 2022 to the present.
