New Jerseyans will be able to witness the splendor of Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza tonight as it returns to the Hudson River this year after an 11-year absence. Organizers say 60,000 fireworks of all types will be set off from barges in the river, the largest number yet for what’s dubbed the largest such display in the country. The show starts at 9:25 p.m.

For those wondering the location of the world’s biggest fireworks show, the city of Dubai holds the Guinness World Record for its New Year’s show of 2014, when more than 500,000 fireworks were let off.
