Is New Jersey meeting its climate goals on clean energy, electric vehicles and environmental justice? To mark Earth Day, David Cruz sits down with Anjuli Ramos-Busot of the Sierra Club of New Jersey and Marcus Sibly, an environmental and social justice activist, to discuss where New Jersey stands on those goals and what the state’s action plan for the future should be.

Also on Chat Box, Cruz talks with Phil Alagia, the chief of staff to the Essex County executive, about a recent report released by the acting state comptroller that criticizes how Essex County handled federal COVID-19 funding and managed its vaccine program.

Watch Chat Box on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel Thursdays at 6 p.m., and on NJ PBS Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
