On Chat Box, senior correspondent David Cruz and U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-12th) delved into the wealth of topics and debates coming out of Washington, D.C., including the House’s recent expulsion of George Santos of New York. Also discussed was the debate over U.S.’s aid to Israel and Palestine during the ongoing conflict and the dangers that Coleman says House Speaker Mike Johnson poses to democracy. And Coleman did not hold back in her views on the U.S. Senate race in New Jersey, as well as her separate support of Rep. Rob Menendez (D-8th).

Next up, Cruz spoke with Julie Roginsky, Democratic strategist and co-founder of ‘Lift our Voices.’ Roginsky discussed the culture for women in politics and her work through “Lift Our Voices” to end non-disclosure agreements that silence employees in the workplace.
