On Chat Box, David Cruz talks with Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D- 5th) about the ousting of Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and who might replace him. What does it mean for a future government shutdown, funding for Ukraine and the future of the Problem Solvers Caucus? Cruz and Gottheimer also discuss the political ramifications of Sen. Bob Menendez’s indictment, the fight over congestion pricing for commuters and whether Gottheimer is eyeing a run for New Jersey governor. Later, soul legend Lee Fields talks about his five decades of bringing soul music to the masses, why he calls New Jersey home and why critics say his latest album “Sentimental Fool” is one of his “finest recordings.”
