After upsetting the University of Arizona in the Round of 64 and the University of Missouri in the Round of 32, the Tigers’ magic ran out in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament.
“You know there are stars galore at our university — economics professors, chemistry professors — and it’s fun to see our guys be recognized as celebrities,” head coach Mitch Henderson said earlier. “As fun as this all is, it’s a life-changing moment for our group. Three weeks ago, we were fighting for our life to make the Ivy League tournament. So just appreciating, being present here, is really special.”
This Tigers team is only the fourth from the Ivy League to make it to the Sweet 16; and it’s the first appearance for the Tigers since 1967.
Ryan Langborg has turned into a walking bucket, and he's single-handedly kept Princeton in this game (at least in the second half).
Game-high 23 points for him, Tigers are within 73-65 with 4:24 to go
