More than 330,000 New Jerseyans have now received booster doses, or third shots, of a COVID-19 vaccine. State officials want all eligible residents to benefit from the additional protection a booster shot provides against infection, serious illness and death from the disease.

But booster doses are not available to everyone who got immunized against COVID-19. Here are the basics on who is now eligible and how they can get a booster shot:
